Welcome to 'finca-oliva' located in the heart of the Costa Blanca. The finca (country house/farmhouse) is completely newly built on an old ruin, 320 meters above sea level in the village 'Bolulla' and offers a spectacular 360° view of the Mediterranean Sea and the impressive 'Sierra de Bernia' mountains.

Just 9 km from the coast and with sea views, the finca offers an oasis of tranquility, away from the bustle of the Costa. Enjoy a drink by the pool or on one of the terraces, .... read a good book under the many olive trees and almond trees on the domain.

Our Belgian family will be happy to welcome you. We speak Dutch, English, French, German and we are working hard on our Spanish. Our family consists of 2 sons (10 and 12 years old), us (Sam and Sofie) and our pets. Len is going to the primary school in Bolulla. Lio is studying at the college in Calossa d’en Saria. A city very close to here.

We pay extra attention to people with autism. We offer clear and visual communication, predictablility (menu boards, infoboards,…) and quiet corners.

Finca Oliva only has 2 spacious familyrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. All rooms have their own entrance. In the rooms is a fridge, kettle, spacious wardrobe with safe and air conditioning/heating. Towels (bath and pool), shower gel, shampoo, bodylotion and hairdryer are provided in the room.

Finca Oliva has a spacious bar-and leisure room “Cava Blanca”. A common room with honesty bar and vending machine, TV, library and play- and bar area. You can freely dispose of it. There are plenty of games for young and old. Drawing supplies for the little ones, children's books. On cold days we have breakfast in this room, together at our large table.

On the domain you can play darts or a game of kubb. In the garden there is a trampoline for the children. In the next year, we are working on extra outdoor play facilities and even and exterior escape room.

The swimming pool is open all the time and sunbeds are freely available. Pool towels are available free of charge. If there is sufficient occupancy, the swimming pool is heated in the spring and autumn.

Scooters will be available soon.

Breakfast is included in the roomprice. We have breakfast from 9 to 11 am. Lunchboxes can be provided if you leave early. An evening meal is provided in the evening at a democratic price. If you arrive late in the evening, we can always arrange a quick spaghetti. Let us know in advance if you have any specific wishes, such as vegan, vegetarian or any allergies.

Our family has 2 cats and 3 young dogs. They are all very child-friendly. Rico, our Swiss Sheperd, roams free and knows his way everywhere. He is not allowed in the guestrooms and not in the common room “Cava Blanca”. He may not swim in the pool. He is a bit shy at first, he tries to protect our home, but if you give him some space he will turn into a loyal friend. Yes, he will miss you when you leave…

We have two very small Pomeranian dogs, Pablo and Luna. They are adorable, cute and they love everyone from the first moment. They are two energetic little dogs that love to have attention. At evenings they are mostly sitting on everyone’s lap.

The cats, Basiel and Lowie, were found on the streets in Belgium. Now, 6 years later, they live with us in Bolulla. but stay most of the time at the second floor and balcony. At night they go for long walks in the surroundings. They are very friendly and most of the time observing on a distance.

In our region almost everyone has one or more dogs. Spain contains a lot of stray dogs too. Don’t be suprised with small visits of neighborhood dogs. Don’t panic, they know the way and go home as quickly as they came…

Oh and let not forget our chickens… They are our small egg-factory and very important waste processor. If we don’t eat it, they will for sure!
